Strandgaard’s obligation is a response to the violation of stem rights from Kevin Gulliksen, for which the season has ended due to adductor problems.
Strandgaard, who signed the contract on Wednesday and thus on his 35th birthday, played at the Top Club Aalborg HB until June 2021. His previous game stations were the Danish first division clubs Nordsjaelland HB (until 2010) and Gog Gudme (2010-2017). In the summer of 2021, Mark Strandgaard ended his active career and has been working for his former club in Gudme in the youth area since then.
During his time at Aalborg HB, he had a significant share in his team’s success. So he threw 53 goals in the Champions League of the 2019/2020 season and 41 goals in the 2020/2021 CL season. The successes there as a Danish champion of 2019 and 2020 as well as the final participation in the Champions League 2021 represent high points in the left -handed career.
“We are very happy that Mark has agreed to help us in the important games in the end of the season. With his experience, he will not need to get used to it and can help us immediately,” said the sporting director Christian Schöne. Beachgaard can already be used in the game at the Füchsen Berlin (7:05 p.m.) this evening.
