The Charlotte Hornets of NBA Legend Michael Jordan have dismissed their coach James Borrego a good week after that in the play-in tournament. That made the club known on Friday. Borrego (44) had taken the post to the season 2018/19 and extended his contract in August.
Charlotte had qualified as the main round fever of the Eastern Conference for the play-in tournament, but was clearly failed to the Atlanta Hawks (103: 132) and had missed the play-offs.
In four years under Borrego (44), the Hornets had recorded a balance sheet of 138-163 and no participation in the PostSeason.
Borrego already trained the Orlando Magic in the last 30 games of the 2014/15 season and was assistant coach at the San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Pelicans and the Magic.
